| This series grew on me as I watched every episode. I love all the character arcs, especially the twins' backstory. All the boys in the host club are loveable. I don't have any bias about who I ship for Haruhi. Though it's obvious who she'll end up with. Shame there's no confession or anything. I guess I'll read the manga. |

| I have to say the anime left me kind of underwhelmed. It was more of a comedy than a romance title and one where the enjoyment you get out of it solely depended how much you jive with the male characters especially Tamaki. And sadly for me that just wasn't the case. I found Tamaki's egocentric escapades and his hole "father" shtick more annoying than entertaining. As for the others - the twins and Kyouya had rather similar characters being manipulative with a slight mean streak which didn't really endear them to me. Honey was probably the most tolerable being just a sweet cinnamon roll. And Mori didn't really have a character. He was just present in the background or as an accessory to Honey. And Haruhi as the female mc nearly had the same problem as Mori. She was just "there" to be the playball of the boys and the target of their affection - always just dragged along to suffer the boys escapades. The story never gave her any agency or any kind of deeper character moments or development which meant she didn't leave much of an impression. Which is a shame because her intial stance of not caring for the perception of her gender was at least somewhat fresh at the start, but it's not like they really did anything with it. So with the characters and the type of comedy around the boys' escapades not really doing it for me there wasn't much to reel me in. |

| it took me 11 years to get here but I finally finished it, the first time I ever watched anime and I watched a couple episodes of it with some friends back in 2013 and had it on hold ever since. Now I can finally say I finished my first anime lmao |

| I can see why people like this anime. For me it was fine, the last 3 episodes were very good. If it would have more episodes like the last 3, i would rank it higher. 6/10 |

| Not the kind of ending I was expecting, I thought they'd end up together, but I'm still happy with it. A lot of plot points were left unresolved, but that was to be expected since this finished way before the manga did. Haruhi dancing with everyone at the end was nice. |
| Now this is an ending! I miss the feeling of watching old TV shows that have these crazy and over-the-top melodramatic endings. Maybe I've been accustomed by action-packed and/or happy-go-lucky ending arcs, but this crazy and extravagant way of ending such a crazy, extravagant but enjoyable anime nonetheless, is one of the greatest plus for me. Personal favorite moment for me was when Haruhi took off her wig and dress in order to catch Tamaki...as the ending theme played for the last time was one of the greatest scenes I've seen recently. Ouran High School Host Club is a show like no other and despite its 2000s flaws, it still has the right flavor and freshness to stand out 20 years after it aired. I watched for the intrigue, I stayed for the hospitality and hilarity of the Host Club, and I will always love it for all the memories and happiness the cast brought to me. A solid 8/10 show, and maybe could grow more for me. |

| No soy de animes de comedia y romance , pero este ha conseguido taparme la boca , me ha gustado mucho y con un final muy bonito y cerrado . También esta serie tiene unos 20 años es normal la animación al principio me pareció un poco antigua , pero cuando llegas al siguiente episodio te acostumbras de inmediato !! Si estás pensando en ver este anime no lo dudes , tiene de todo , momentos de drama , tensión pero sobre todo comedia para echarte unas risas , ahora entiendo como este anime fue tan popular en su época . Bueno le he puesto un 9/10 porque tampoco es una obra maestra y quedan por descubrir cabos sueltos , ya que el anime no adapta todos los mangas . En fin una gran serie con un gran final y Haruhi una gran protagonista , si algún día hay segunda temporada seré el primero en verla . |
