| I honestly expected the Black King to say "SEARCH AND DESTROY! SEARCH AND DESTROY! SEARCH AND DESTROY!" at some point I honestly didn't believe anybody could stand a chance against the Black king's army given how strong they are but seeing what's inside of Hiryuu could give them a chance My hopes for a second season are low seeing that already few years have passed but there is always that chance I guess..... |

There wouldn't even be enough material to start a 2nd season or even a movie. The OVA covered most of the available material left too lol. |

| Well, that was fine and it felt a bit rushed. These OVAs arent as good as the main series even though they are considered episodes 13, 14 and 15. Maybe since they were released a time later I lost that excitement... that is why I dislike when they release sequel episodes a long time later =( Also, "to be continued" popped up at the end though seems like we wont be having another episode. To bad =( 6/10 |

| Hijikata and Jeanne are burning with revenge, hopefully we'll see them getting theirs in the future, I'm expecting an exciting fight with Shimazu. This was a funny yet gruesome episode, I don't know how they managed to make it good. The Dark King's army has no mercy, look at the way they slaughtered those humans in that city😫 However, they managed to cover up the grim parts with some lighthearted last part. Commendable stuff. Enjoyed this, too bad we haven't gotten episode 16 even today. |

| I love how this anime is about action and comedy at times. The Black King’s army looks unstoppable. I’m hoping Tamon’s group would join Toyohisa. Tamon recognizing Scipio was interesting, I guess if Hannibal will do the same. They are master strategists but out of place with the new weapons. Interesting, hope he get more episodes. |

| Well it was slightly better han the previous 2 ovas but only a tad...HUGE CLIFFHANGER And...the series is now dead practically. Low budget or no budget, no new material because hte author gave up, I heard all the reasons...oh well...show was getting too weird and off from where it began. *shrugs 5/10 |

| Really liked the part where the Pilot receives a letter from the Yamaguchi Toman the legendary Rear Admiral of Naval Aircraft "Hiryuu" & they finally met with some wild sumo greetings 😂 lol. As for the ongoing offence between humanity and inhumane, I think the people of this world are understanding the dire situation they are currently in, that's why they cooperating with peer drifters to purge the dark king's army. "To Be Continued" showed but till now no updates 🥲. Score 7/10 at MAL. Finished it on 21st July 2025 at 16:16 Hrs IST. |
| Episode 15. It advances the plot, introduces some new characters, and ends. It really needs a sequel. This OVA was only released on DVD, so it was strange to see the anime in low resolution. |
