Loved it but i can’t believe they did us like that with the ending. Like i’m glad she became more confident and grew (metaphorically and literally lol) during the whole experience but what frustrated me is that seiji realized he loved her too, yet when she finally confessed in her normal body at the end he had the perfect chance to say it back but he didn’t?? :( Not to mention the fact that he’s always going to have all those memories of their time together, missing her, and she won’t is heartbreaking! I get what they were trying to do but still. Overall it was a sweet story but deff not a totally happy ever after :(

A surprisingly emotionally deep anime, given how whacky and ridiculous the scenario is. The set up for comedy was top notch, some hilarious moments given the two MCs situation. Abrupt ending, leaves a little to be desired. 8/10.

Beautifully written final episode. I loved the montage at the end, this was worth binge-watching. The corny cliches aside, this show was very well-written and executed.

Mixed feelings, wouldnt recommend
i heard the anime was slightly different than the manga, it sure seems so, it felt like a drag until Kota kun was introduced there was no real progress, all moments were mostly from midori's perspective,, there were just 1-2 moments where seiji mightve have thought of Midori as "not a burden" but it didnt really feel like he was falling in.. for instance, Ayase's confession was very impactful so is Seiji's reply to Midori's confession in the end, but the problem is it just felt too abrupt, instead of the ass comedy scenes shldve focused more on the main cast's bonding.

Definitely enjoyable even though it was also lacking in many ways. But the characters and story were pretty good and the art style and city and everything was beautiful. Kinda sucks that Midori wont remember all that :(

I had fun watching this but wasnt all that crazy of an anime. 5.5/10 tbh but wow anime from around this time really are so beautiful and usually have something special about them and I felt it while watching this even though I also felt it was lacking it definitely did feel special too. But not quite good enough for a 6/10.... actually maybe... idk

Honestly a very enjoyable show. The characters all have unique and likeable personalities and none of the episodes were ever boring or unentertaining.
The ending while somewhat weak definitely isn't as bad as most of the people here are making it out to be.
A good first watch but I wouldn't say it's too rewatchable.
6/10. Great soundtrack.
Seiji is definitely a better man than the rest of us.

Seiji turned out to be such a coward. He spent the whole series blabbering about what a 'real man' does, but when it was time to step up, he just ran away. Midori had to run all over the city just to make things happen, acting as the 'man' of the relationship since day one, making all the moves. Couldn't the author have let him chase her just this once? And it’s infuriating that he didn't even keep his promise to confess and finally say he loves her after losing that rock-paper-scissors match.

Ayase really dodged a bullet there, she would’ve had such a rough time dating him

So-so lighthearted anime. This is a good watch when taking a break from serious action fantasy genre. It felt a bit rushed though, and Seiji didn't even straightforwardly tell his feelings to Midori. I like the last part of the opening theme where they changed the right hand Midori to normal Midori sitting side by side with Seiji.
