I haven't found it anywhere but I heard that there was an english dub version out there made by Animax. I tried searching for it for so long. Anyone know where I can watch it?

There IS a dub - but as you said, it's by Animax. Animax doesn't release their shows anywhere but on TV and sometimes a few titles online (such as Nodame, which is dubbed by them and officially shown on Crackle). They don't release DVDs because they only pay for TV airing rights and rarely some streaming rights.

So will you be able to find it? The basic answer is no. It exists, but only when it aired on TV. If nobody recorded it and uploaded it then it's not something available. Even if someone did, chances are you'll never find it.

The US release of Gakuen Alice is from RightStuf, who released it sub-only.

If there is no dubbed then why bother hiring english actors. If they weren't going to dub it then they shouldn't have hired english actors.

You do realize that people outside Asia can't get Animax, right?

Some of the episodes are on streaming sites, but even though I'm a big dub fan, I wouldn't recommend it from the clip I just watched. You see, nearly every character in every Anime dubbed by Animax is voiced by Amanda Kwan, so everybody sounds the same. Also, Animax dub actors are quite amateur, so your best bet is to give the subbed version a try.

@TallonKarrde23 Any idea why it was only dubbed in Asia and not in the west?
