Also known as Joe, of Polish and Samoan ethnicity. Grew up in New Zealand, now live on the east coast, USA. I am also a "re-awakened" otaku that had been suppressed for a couple of decades. The only positive thing that Corona brought for me, was a lockdown from everything. And that let me get reacquainted with a long lost friend.

The last few years have slowly been building up for me as far as viewing selection. I've also noticed myself even buying figures, clothing, and attending conventions... recently started the LN series for Re:Zero. Numbers guy machinist by trade, likes to golf, snowboard, play trumpet, got back into 2DHD rpgs for the Switch, yadayada.

Music likes; very broad range from Sublime to The Bee Gees, Paul Simon to Tupac... actually have a couple tats inspired by Pac's words, a loonnnng time ago. Two broad umbrella categories that occupy most of my listening these days are reggae; faves being Culture, Marcia Griffiths, Sizzla, UB40 amongst many. The other being EDM; faves being Buku, Louis the Child, old Major Lazer, Skrillex, and many others. I am also a big fan of Slightly Stoopid, Stick Figure, SOJA, and Hippie Sabotage.

Haven't been on social media in like a decade due to a culmination of things happening at that time in my life. I'll probably link an insta sometime, just getting back into the swamp...

anyway, just here to enjoy the anime camaraderie with other like-minded folks.
