Yeah honestly that makes sense haha if I remember correctly a lot of the Trigger staff originally came from Gainax, so I guess they inherited that habit of making something amazing and then disappearing and leaving all of us suffering while waiting for sequels lol

The whole SBR situation is still kinda weird though 😭 technically they already confirmed the “2nd STAGE” for Fall 2026, but there’s still no exact release date for episode 2 at least now it seems like they wanna release it weekly instead of doing another cursed release schedule like Stone Ocean because literally everyone complained about that xD

LMAOOO I had completely forgotten that eroge even existed until I mentioned it to you xD the funniest part is that I found out about it because of some friends from high school who used to do anime fandubs for stuff like Haruhi Suzumiya, and one day they were like “come watch this super cute visual novel with us” while I was there completely innocent like ✨(๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ✨
…huge mistake 😭 I genuinely thought it was gonna be something wholesome and romantic and instead I got emotional damage and an existential crisis LOL

Although honestly, now that I think about it, it’s actually really funny to remember xD

I’m still kinda lost with Danganronpa too 😭 I only watched the first season but I actually liked it a lot, plus the pink blood looked weirdly aesthetic hahaha. Then they released like two different Danganronpa anime around the same time, and after that people told me I had to read/play the visual novel to fully understand everything and that’s where my brain completely shut down but someday I definitely wanna go back to it because I’m still curious hehe

Honestly though… “YOU and ME and HER” looks WAY too adorable just from the title and art alone

I might actually check it out this weekend although I really hope it doesn’t turn into another School Days LMAOOO… I wanna trust you you wouldn’t recommend me something completely horrible… right? (￣▽￣*)♡

Yes!!! I’m also really curious to see what that Ghost in the Shell anime will be like. I saw some teaser images and it has potential, especially visually. Anyway, I’m looking forward to it, and I wonder what the main plot will be.

I could see that being a thing, a lot of these companies love pumping out the same kind of content because they know that many people don't like leaving their comfort zones when it comes to content. At least that's my tin foil hat theory anyway.

Ooh man, I don’t even know what to say… Well, it’s a shame that Violet Evergarden didn’t touch you. Personally, it’s one of my favorite anime, so I found it absolutely gorgeous, but well… everyone has their own opinion haha.
And yes, I agree, A Silent Voice is a pure masterpiece of a movie, it really takes you through every emotion.

Yeah, you’re right it’s not really the directors or animators, it’s more about the corporations and how the industry works. For example, with the new season of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure there’s quite a bit of chaos, so you can really see that issue.
In the case of One Punch Man, it seems like it was more about the industry than the studio itself J.C Staff had a lot of limitations, so it’s not fair to fully blame them.

And hmm, good question I don’t think Studio Trigger really focuses on sequels. They usually go for more original projects I kinda wish they released more anime per season though 😍
LOL I’m glad you don’t judge 😭 yeah… Sono Hanabira was definitely an experience hahaha. Are you actually gonna add it to your list? Just be careful, it’s not gore or anything, but yeah… it’s definitely for adults 😅 xD

Danganronpa has like 3 seasons I’ve only seen the first one, so I’m still missing the visual novels I think I’ll have to catch up, maybe even with the light novels, to keep up with you haha

Ohhh, you loved it? Same here, but yeah it really shocked me. I don’t usually like harem stuff, but this one felt different. And yeah, Doki Doki Literature Club! looks super cute at first, but then it completely messes with you it’s such an intense experience.

That's understandable, Tatsunoko isn't quite as popular as they used to be. Though it is crazy to think they are still making anime even to this day, I think it just doesn't have the punch that their past titles have had. Unfortunately yes, I work in the kitchen that feeds homeless shelters and does catering jobs, and now we picked up a third shelter so it's more busy than ever. The only nice thing about working weekends at a place like this is that it's usually pretty slow, so it helps me catch up on my prep work for the rest of the week. If you don't mind me asking what's keeping you busy these days? 🤔

i rarely read manga. but i do mostly just watch seasonal, so most days it just one or two episodes. Also I don't binge anime and I never rewatch an anime. I also watch a lot of non-anime stuff and have other hobbies.

Ohhh, I see. As for the relationship between Okarun and Momo, nah, that’s not true at all. Their relationship develops a lot over time. I think their romance is well written: it’s progressive and not rushed. Especially as a manga reader, I know where their relationship is now, or at least the inevitable direction it’s heading.

So yeah, I can assure you their relationship really does evolve, but gradually, it’s even kind of cute haha.

Hmm, I see. Now you’re making me want to subscribe to Steam too, but the only risk for me is that I’ll spend without limits haha, especially considering how many great games there must be, but well, I’ll see.
