ooooh, nice taste in genres! the one that came in my mind right away was the tainted cup and its sequel a drop of corruption. this is a mystery in a fantasy world. the worldbuilding is rich and the mystery is compelling. the characters we're following remind me the dynamic sherlock and watson had, but with fun twists to their archetype of characters.
all in all, it was very good. the third book in this series is coming out this upcoming summer and it's one of my most anticipated releases （。＞ω＜）。

Haha, that’s just because I started watching anime way back then! (Around 2000/early 2001, can’t remember lol.) Fushigi Yuugi was about the fourth or fifth one I ever watched and it wasn’t that old then, lol. I’ll watch anything, old or new. :) I do love Kyou Kara Maou a lot…I rewatch that one sometimes. My very favorite anime is from 2009 though, so the 2010s are just fine. Thanks again!

Hi there! I just wanted to thank you for your Secret Santa recs. I haven’t had a chance to check them out yet, but I could tell that you really put thought into picking things I might like (and I know that’s hard with my insane ptw!). I hadn’t even heard of Twin Spirit Detectives before and it looks right up my alley. I’ve been really impressed with the Chinese anime I’ve seen so far, so I’m looking forward to checking it out, and your other recs! Thanks again. :)
