I will watch it for sure, I didn't really know about it until I read this.
I went to Japan earlier this year, it was very fun and I wish I got to see more of it but only had about a week. I did get to spend about 6 hours in Akihabara, I wanted to buy some Xbox games that region exclusives but damn there was no Xbox-related stuff anywhere and a lot of the stores over there were like stores that sold used figurines, which really sucked, sure it's all cleaned up and kept in good condition but it's not brand new. They only had a few stores that sold figurines brand new, I really wanted to get a Beastar figurine but kind of impossible to find.
I've never been someone to even get figurines but because I saw soooo many over there, I ended up buying one Evangelion and two One Piece figurines, they were incredibly cheap because once I got home and checked Amazon UK for the stuff I got, I bought something for £25 ($34), it was going for about £350 ($473) online. All 3 were being sold at way higher prices on Amazon UK.
Went off tangent, I would love to go again.
Hope you're doing well and thank you for the recommendation.
Who haven't thought of Visiting Japan before? It's an old dream, I hope I can accomplish it one day. Not so sure as to live there though, they have very strict customs and that would be a big culture clash, and they don't like foreigners that much over there. I prefer to enjoy their culture from afar.
Hirayasumi looks like my thing. I don't use amazon, so I'll look up the internet when I the time to check on that one. I hope they have a decent anime adaptation when they get around to do this.
Meanwhile, I finished Frieren. It was a delight of course. I haven't been interested in newer series recently. They made me loose interest after 2 or 3 episodes. So Frieren might have been the last cool series I have finished.
I've been checking on the other Mangas of the Blame Mangaka recently. I really like his Blame style, but his other stuff so far, seems to be more normal unfortunatelly.
Summer's been unusually hot over here. I also stay away from sugary drinks. I'll share my secret drink with you. I drink ginger root infusion all year long, it helps fight inflammation and makes me feel great, however now in summer, I have to brew it beforehand the previous night and let it cool overnight in the fridge, then into thermos and I can have something refreshing during the working day. In summer adding a tiny bit of salt helps the absorption of water by the cells too.
There you go, I hope you're having a nice time wherever you are.
Take care. ^^
Ah I knew Mao rang a bell, the new takahashi adaptation. I don't feel very inclined to do it. Everything she did after inuyasha feels very derivative. As if she found a safe selling formula on repeating the inuyasha formula to death, which is sad coming from the same person who did maison ikkoku and other original works back in the day.
I fell back on Frieren but will definitely finish it .
I've seen this little anime online but haven't clicked on it.
Thanks for the recommendation and of Lupin too, I havent seen a Lupin movie in years. I loved the second season. And Cagliostro is still a great fun watch.
I'm doing well but just can't hide from the chaos.
The UK is an odd place, I'm fine at the moment but just worried that our government could change to Reform in the next election, they're kinda like a far-right group, the leader of that party is a Trump fan and they're being funded by Elon Musk. The issue is our current government are just disappointing the public at the moment, it's the Labour party and they've literally come into power after more than a decade of Conservatives being the leading party.
I'm appalled at what's going around the world, it's just depressing.
As for FTV, I'm unable to actually check the site properly because Maiku took the decision to block UK users because he was worried that he might get sued by the UK government. The UK passed a law called the "Online Safety Act" and it started getting enforced last year, essentially FTV have to have age verification on their site for UK users to access it as they want to stop children from using the site or something like that, so they use webcam age estimation verification services....basically a whole load of crap. This law is just awful because almost all sites need age verification now....it's just dumb.
Hello Hime-chan. There's not so much snow these days anymore where I live. Climate change is not up for debate over here unlike in the USA. XD
But I'm ready for the Christmas holidays. Take a break from work and enjoy myself. And I look forward to next year.
Yes, luckily I'm getting a bit better everyday. I've got friends and family to help if needed, but I like doing things myself as well to see if I can do it. We're still having very nice sunny weather over here, so it's nice to go outside and walk around.
Luckily the woman I work for is very understanding and cooperative. I like my work and I want to get back as soon as possible, but it's gonna take some time.
I thought I had a light fever: moments later I was on intensive care with pneumonia. I spent 3-4 weeks on IC, than a month in hospital and than 4-5 weeks in a revalidation clinic. Now I'm home again. I can walk, but for longer distances I have a walking aid. I lost s omuch muscle power! When I woke up on the IC, I could only move my hands and feet a little bit, and I had no voice. So I've come a long way, and work daily on getting stronger again. Ah well, glad to b!
Happy New Year even though it's April lol. Technically it's a new year soon for a certain culture, I think Tamil or Hindu New Year is like April 14th or something.
Well hello old friend, it's been a long time since we spoke. I finally decided to make a new account, cause I couldn't get into my old one anymore. my old profile How are you doing? I'm doing fine.
Around here, middle of Europe, we can sense spring coming as well. First spring flowers popping up and first spring flower perfumes invading the streets. It's a very nice feeling every year.
