You're welcome for the request, and although I don't remember which review you meant it was probably one that was highly well-written since there are a lot of shitty reviews on this site that don't give an honest opinion on an anime or manga.

Plus with your little Punpun comment I just wanted to add to it so feel free to take it to heart or don't. It's one of those manga I believe the time/ age does HEAVILY impact enjoyment. If you're currently in an agonized state or 16-23 please read it this is when we see Punpun "the main character" go through his hellish issues in the manga where readers sympathize with his pains. I am aware something "silly" like a time/ place to read things shouldn't matter but I've revised it twice, once when I was 15 and last year and it hit the spot now that I've grown up and understand the underlying messages.

And yes it is sad, but that's the point. The manga is loved because people sympathize with what he felt to a disgusting degree and showcases reality, themes, and an interesting storyline to read.

If you pick it back up finish it within one time frame as spacing out your reading (dropping and picking something back up) will hinder understanding of why the dam manga Is beloved by degenerates.
