I'm 33. Australian.
The first anime I ever watched was the second episode of Pokemon in 1998. I spent most of my childhood years on Quizilla writing terrible self-insert fanfiction for Yu-Gi-Oh!, D.N Angel, and One Piece (among others).

I'm a firm no-dropper; no exceptions. I don't care how long an anime ends up being, or if I find it boring-- if I start it, I must finish it. Unless tagged as 'unavailable', my "on-hold" pile is a list of my continual struggles.

10 - My heart is full of love for this anime.
9 - An excellent show; highly recommended.
8 - A great show, enjoyed it, but was missing 'something'.
7 - Good show, but ordinary enough.
6 - Some enjoyment was had, but forgettable.
5 - Forgivably bland, neither loved it or hated it.
4 - Both bland and kind of cringe-y. Missable.
3 - More cringe than not. Regret watching.
2 - REALLY regret watching; a waste of time.
1 - Unforgivably awful. No effort was made.
