This lil' darling starts off as an accurate representation of high school boys' libido with some genuinely hilarious ideas; it's been quite some time since a work has given me so many laughs. Little did I know that the real nature of 'High school Boy' should be used to teach the idea of the Overton window.

piling up until you suddenly wake up faced with a realization too late to deny. We're balls deep into a full-on BL, which, although by no means healthy, is able to beautifully portray the slow yet steady shift of emotions and buildup of intimate tension between two straight boys.
Suddenly, the bro jokes are not just jokes, and you really wanna touch his tits.
And it doesn't hold punches. More importantly, unlike the majority of romances in manga/manhwa, it does not backtrack. The characters don't spend ages on the same phases, or regress back to some uncertain status quo after a core event takes place. Yes, their behavior and small talks might not reflect it, but each major beat propels their chemistry forward. Even if they remain oblivious or denialist, it does not hinder the evolution of their relationship. Regardless of how stiff they are (not just in pants), the gay allegations do indeed keep mounting until the tension is too much to handle. It's all, really great... until chapter 44 where it kind of falls apart.

Now, the momentum of their bromance picks itself up later on, as the characters struggle to accept their feelings. However, the ease with which our protagonist allows himself to be close to a "certain redhead individual" is downright unbelivable, and it ties to what is easily the biggest issue holding this manhwa back.
People WILL be put off by it, understandably so. I myself believe that it's not the authors' duty to condemn toxicity or to refrain from romanticizing it. It's all good for me as long as it serves the artistic vision. In this case, sadly, the blatant sexual harassment, which is meant to be taken as a joke, very often goes to such extreme lengths, where you'd be right to expect the tone to shift drastically. There wouldn't be anything wrong with that by itself, but the problem is that it becomes a NORM.
Every day, the envelope is pushed. Every chapter, the main character is treated in a demeaning way that would surely put a deep strain on his psyche. But it doesn't amount to anything. It truly does not leave anything in its wake, other than a superficial trifle of emotions.
It fucking sucks, and the worst part is, it is completely unneeded. We've got a tremendous number of innuendo jokes and a fair amount of serious problems that the characters have to deal with. There is truly no need for normalization, or at the very least, desensitization of rape jokes that cross the line. And there CERTIANLY is no need for any goodwill towards the character responsible for it.
For some GOD FORSAKEN reason, the author can NOT just ditch the redhead molester who, setting aside the disgusting jokes, went to such lengths as to earn himself a portrayal of a PROPER SEXUAL PREDATOR (chapter 36). That very moment should be the end of him... But, for SOME REASON, he is considered an "OPTION", or at least a rival, which, regardless of what's going to happen, will feel horrible either way later on in the story. His presence alone should make the main character RETCH. He should have been discarded for good, and I don't want to see him "turn a better leaf," nor for the protagonist to look at him as anything other than a repulsive animal.
He sadly does, and it undermines any weight behind his previous actions. As a man who has experienced such abuse myself, I believe such reckless notions should not be entertained. I have nothing against him being a sexual predator. I have an issue with the protagonist turning a staggeringly blind eye to all this.
----- Summary -----
I may sound harsh, but I genuinely had a blast with it. As with all comedies, I struggle to attach a score to it, especially when the criticisms are centered around ideological or storytelling aspects of a work, rather than what it aims to deliver on - comedy and romance. It does deliver on both and you WILL gain at least a few amazing screenshot-worthy panels from it, which will help fuel your twink metamorphosis.
