Main (or one of the main) plot - yuri does have impact on the story, you can't remove it.
Subplot - yuri does not have much story impact, you can easily remove it. But it exist and it's here. DOES HAVE a kiss or thoughts/words like 'i love (Emilia) you, mah dearest girl'.

No queerbait, no yuribait, no tag, no publishing mangas.

This is a list of Shojo/Josei manga where Female Friendship is centered on at least 50% of the time or more. Some honorable mentions that do have prominent female friendships, but in my opinion don't quite meet a minimum 50/50 ratio would be: Fruits Basket, Kimi ni Todoke, Daytime Shooting Star, Chihayafuru, and Ao Haru Ride.

Women dealing with family, friends, careers, marriage, pregnancy, children, adultery, relationship to food, sexual orientation, beauty standards and more.

This was supposed to be a private list, I haven't read most of these myself, I plan to, but then I thought maybe some people are looking for similar stories so here it is.

Manga that prominently feature lesbian/bi/pan/queer/sapphic female characters that are NOT labelled as GL/girls love/yuri/shoujo ai on MAL.

Most of these are more about being queer rather than focusing on a specific sapphic relationship.
