What a ride this manga was. I've been following it for the past 5 years,so I'm drowned by a void-like feeling now that it's over. Every arc in Vinland Saga feels equally important ,which is why I do not have a favourite. The art is beautiful and expressive ,the character designs are very memorable,even though for the most part they are grounded and realistic. This manga is a journey enriched with great messages about forgiveness and becoming better and all the struggles these two come with,as people are unable to truly embrace them,even though they want to. Thorfinn is an excellent protagonist and honestly a ... person people should aspire to be. The side cast is great Einar and Hild had great arcs, Hild forgiving Thorfinn is one of my favourites scenes in general and Einar's final arc and death made me tear up. Askeladd is obviously another fantastic character with amazing conclusion ,which changed the whole direction of the manga. I especially loved the later scenes when he was in hell talking to Thorfinn and most of all, I adored the scene in which Thorfinn talks to Leif and tells him ''follow your heart my son'' and Thors n Askeladd appear behind him smiling, I actually got goosebumps while thinking about it.

I liked the ending,some could say as a complaint ''but what about Canute?'' I think he played his role already, the story is about the journey to Vinland,which is over ,it really doesn't matter what Canute does,though it wouldn't be impossible for a sequel to come out to show what happens after (under a different name obviously). I don't need such a sequel,but I would read it.

Such a phenomenal series man.

I've been following Kaiju no.8 since chapter 3 or sth. It was a cool battle shonen with a more mature protagonist ,but unfortunately as it progressed ,it brought nothing fresh to the table. It's just another typical battle shonen, with some pretty cool designs. It could have been much more,but for what it was ,it was fun. It's definitely a good start for people who have not read many works yet. The art is good and it's pretty easy to read,characters aren't great ,but they are likeable at least. I'd say I was kinda burnt out during the final arc ,but I'm satisfied with the ... finale.

I watched it with my friends in Lulea, who I visited last week. Honestly it's the goofiest thing ever and really chaotic ,but in a fun way. As long as one watches it with friends,it's good. I do not think I would ever watch this, if it weren't for them.
There is basically no story,it's just 6 10 minute episodes of chaos, characters can be fun, Sabato is the goat. It really surprised me how well is the production of such a show the animation was really good for some reason and the artstyle is the typical 2000s one.
Watch this as long as you wanna ... if u wanna see some random shit with friends, that's the guaranteed way to enjoy this show.

Shinigami Bocchan was my introduction to romcoms.
It's a fun to read series with cute and enjoyable interactions between characters.
The plot which is focused at the second half of the series was good.The way the plot was resolved felt kinda meh though,but it wasnt terrible ,I guess.The last chapter did its job ,but it felt really rushed and kinda underwhelming.

I really enjoyed the art,it's one of a kind and manages to convey the atmosphere's feelings really well.The character desings are really nice and cute .It's really easy to read and the panelling feels smooth and good.

The cast is really enjoyable to watch.Their interactions and characters ... are well made.I really enjoyed watching them

Overall, Shinigami Bocchan is a nice series,if one wants to read a romcom ,then I would recommend the series.

These are my overall thoughts about Megalo Box
I've heard about it before,but the reason I decided to watch it ,is because of the fact that it was made for Ashita No Joe's 50 years anniversary and I really do not regret watching this show.
I firmly believe that it managed to continue Ashita no Joe's legacy

I really liked the story and I was really happy to see that there were so many moments inspired by its predecessor.The first season was basically a modern more light hearted Ashita no Joe and I loved it for that .The second season kept the whole spirit of its inspiration ,but ... also added its own flavour and introduced darker themes compared to the previous season. I'm really satisfied with this whole journey from start to finish.

I adore the art of Megalo Box ,it manages to feel oldschool yet new and fresh .It has a really unique tone and it is mesmerizing.

The characters of the series were amazing, some were heavily inspired from Ashita No Joe characters ,but had their own unique characteristics and developments ,which made them feel similar yet very different.Chief is my favourite side character ,he is so memorable and impactful.Of course Joe is my favourite overall ,his whole journey was one of a kind .I really loved the development he went through during season 2.

Overall ,Megalo box is an amazing anime ,I would heavily recommend it ,as it provides an amazing short story with beautiful music ,moments and characters.Btw if you are an Ashita no Joe fan and you haven't watched Megalo Box ,just do yourself a favour and watch it ,you won't regret it

Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is a pretty chill series .I would not call it special or something ,but it was a pretty nice read .I also liked the concept of time and growing up ,which were a big part of the series

The art was cute ,I really enjoyed the authors artstyle ,it kinda made me nostalgic for some reason

The characters were fun to watch , I can't say I disliked any of them.

Another really good thing about the series is that it can be read really fast as it has little dialogue.

Overall, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is a pretty decent and cute series,I would recommend it ,but ... keep in mind that there are no shocking moments ,plotwists and such

Ashita no Joe is considered a classic. I'm always cautious when a series is called a classic, because people tend to view it differently compared to more modern series ,while using the phrase ''for its time''.For instance they will say that a series was great for its time.That thing kinda annoys me not gonna lie ,due to the fact that a classic should keep being great no matter the era the reader lives in and Ashita no Joe proved to be a classic among classics indeed.

I won't analyse the story or the characters ,as I'm sure that hundreds of people already did that and better ... than I could ever do. I'll talk mostly about my reading experience.
I love the story of Joe ,it brought me numerous different feelings .There was not even 1 arc that I did not enjoy. The whole journey had me reading with a warm smile on my face ,it was a hell of a ride.I'm not a person that throws even a single tear easily,but I have to admit that at the end I was tearing for about a minute .Although I wouldn't call it my favourite manga ,it's definetely the one that played with my feelings as if they were a piano.

Just a small talk about the characters. I loved each and every one of them. I firmly believe that all of them fullfilled their purpose magnificently .About Joe I need to say that above all, he is human ,maybe one of the most human characters one can find. Joe is a jerk thorough the whole series,but he is MY jerk and I love him for that. He is the only character that although he was introduced to me in my 20s, I would call him my hero.

I really liked the art .I'm a big fan of oldschool art in general ,but Ashita no Joe's art was stunning.The artist knew how to transmit a scene's atmosphere and feelings to the reader perfectly

All in all ,I would definetely recommend Ashita no Joe ,one does not necessarily have be a sports fan to love it.It was my first sports series and I have to say that it is indeed a classic masterpiece that the world should not ever forget .

Takopii no Genzai had a really intriguing premise.It's a series that contains many problems that our society is facing constantly, such as domestic violence,bullying and kids being overpressured by their parents.There were many shocking scenes and fucked up situations.Unfortunately the ending felt kinda rushed ,I think the manga should have been a little longer like an extra volume or so. If it wasn't for that I would give it a solid 7 or even an 8 who knows.

The art is pretty good ,I really enjoy the author's unique artstyle and the widespreads were fantastic. I extremely liked how the eyes were drawn, it is said ... that eyes are the gate of a human's soul and the mangaka managed to indicate that well enough.

The characters were good ,due to the situations they lived in no one is hateable ,their actions can be understanded.

Overall, Takopii no Genzai is a really nice short dark manga, it would have been way better given a little more time ,but it is what it is .It can be read in less than a day and I recommend it

Zetman was a really interesting read, it's been years since I've seen a picture of it and I was like I'll definetely read this one

It's clearly inspired by Devilman and I honestly enjoy this fact. Each and every arc felt unique ,interesting and fresh .The last one was kinda lacking in some aspects ,but I think I'm satisfied with what I got from it ,though objectively speaking the story was not concluded entirely.

The art is great and unique ,probably one of the greatest I've seen.It also looks more like a western comic rather than a japanese.

The cast was pretty good ,especially Jin and Kouga,both are ... really well made and easily liked .I can't say I liked Konoha ,I consider her boring and not likeable.Regarding female characters though I really liked Hanako ,she was really fun to watch and had some great scenes.

Overall, Zetman is a great dark series with amazing art and cast,the ending can feel kinda off though, so keep that in mind

Ajin was an enjoyable ride,but I cannot say that I liked it as much as I expected me to do.
The story was ok ,but I didn't like the execution as much.There was not a single moment that I was like ''WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN NEXT?''.

The art is really nice ,I really like the character designs of Ajin and the designs of Ibms.

The cast had some nice characters and a lot of one dimensional ones. Kei and Sato were probably the best among them, their rivalry was pretty interesting and as individuals (especially Sato), they were intriguing. I didn't like the side characters at all except for ... Tanaka and Tosaki ,who were underused in my opinion,but still they were nice .The author was confused with the cast at the beginning, as he just kicked some characters like Kai and Kei's sister completely out of the story,although they seemed that they would be important and that was kinda annoying.

Overall,Ajin is a fun series ,I would recommend it to anyone who wants a simple and chill reading experience
