Someone Hertz is right up my alley of the humor I look for in animanga. The humor in each chapter comprises of completely random quips and constant jokes that get a smile out of you. I wouldn't go into this expecting some super tryhard, in-your-face humor that tries appealing to everyone.
It's a very generic, linear story, however its set up in a way that allows for many opportunities for the two to get to know each other better and to GROW together. A simple set-up which allows the humor and characters to shine brighter.
It's simple a journey following the main characters, Mimei, the protagonist,

and Mizuo, our mc's comedic rival and good friend. The chemistry between the two is exceptionally well done, always engaging and fun to see the reactions and shenanigans the two create. And a third or quarter of the humor is with the author's silly faces and derpy Mizuo reactions, really well done and never in bad taste. The build-up in their friendship and subtle romance from the start gives way to so many opportunities for the author to bring them together to have fun and to find stimuli for their submissions for the weekly talk show. There is great potentials with their dynamic and relationship, its one that I'll be very invested in for the future.
This might be a controversial take, but I don't think the humor is lost in translation at all, its probably lost in comprehension/skill issue or just in difference of culture/experiences. Once again, the jokes are primarily to get "heh's" and smiles out of you, really light read to keep up on with strong engagement. Also I'm slightly sarcastic, humor is subjective but macho tomato tomacho.
I wouldn't say the art is great, but it does the job well for setting up jokes and to be unique enough to always recognize and find interesting. The art does go pretty hard in some scenes and really allows the atmospheric build up for some more impactful moments.
I got some controversial opinions and some yappin, but all in all I think anyone reading this should give Someone Hertz a shot. The chemistry between the two is nice and the goals Mimei sets for himself are a nice plus+. Also I recommend checking out the occasional music plugs the author throws in at the end of some of the talk show listen-ins, W engagement and an easy 9/10 read so far, I will be keeping up weekly for the foreseeable future!

I'm gonna be honest, Himaten is some really good romance. I said it! I don't think its bad, but I think it's really good!
The author really cooked with the characters and has been able to really capture your attention with the dialogue and "innocent" artstyle. You can't help but root for the romance interests in this manga, the mc isn't some dumb perv or perfect hero, he's just a great guy who is very capable at house chores and cleaning. from his hard work and career driven goals (with some romantic goals as well).
I can guarantee this isn't for everyone, but its not a manga that deserves to be slandered, the author actually puts in some effort into this one. And the fact that his has some of the most grounded relationships that I've read in this genre is a sign that I'm gonna keep reading it until it finishes serializing (WHICH I DONT DO OFTEN LOL).
I rate my manga purely based off enjoyment factor, this is one I enjoy a lot currently, but it really does have some SERIOUS problems that I'll address because I'm not totally blind. The main character is frustrating for the fact that he has shown genuine interest in all of the female leads. He is in love with his childhood friend Honoka, he has a great connection and vibe with Himari, and is very interested in Kanna's kindness and good looks. The fact that he is incapable of just committing to Honoka, who he made clear he LOVES from the very start, is very annoying. As we come to learn later is that he doesn't want to ask out Honoka because he would end up having to quit working with Himari, now... This obviously feels like a cop out for the author so that they are able to have time to just shift the mc's love over to another without any real consequences or drama. I feel bad for Honoka because while she isn't my favorite, she genuinely loves Tenichi and the fact the mc is practically playing with these poor girl's feelings by being indifferent hurts to see.
This manga will stay at a solid 9/10 for enjoyment factor, but the whole thing is on a tightrope, its exciting and has my attention, but if the author doesn't pull off the act without falling off, then this shit is gonna go straight to the gutter and nobody will be happy. HIMARI #1 :D :D

I have only ever reviewed something when I truly love and adore it. This manga is one of such things. It's a slow-paced romance that centers its plot around building a relationship between a kouhai and his senpai in their extra-curricular activities. One of the few mangas that will feel so incredibly rewarding for getting invested into the characters, and every new chapter is just an exponential improvement from the last. And assuming this keeps at an upwards trend to the climax, this will become something special, and will have an anime adaptation for it in the future.

CALLING OUT TO ALL BUNNY GIRL AND MEAT LOVERS! THIS MANGA IS FOR YOU! If I'm being honest, this really isn't anything out of this world or innovating for the genre. All it is, is a relaxing, wholesome story about the romantic development between a Yakitori shop owner and a bunny girl who frequents the shop.
I'd love to start off by saying that the art is very well done, the details on the meats and the character designs are consistent AND LOOK ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! The cover art for every chapter is beautifully made, and all the proportions for the characters are AMAZING!
The pacing of

the manga is fairly slow, if you can't appreciate this type of pacing, but healthy development between these characters, it's probably not for you. But, it isn't like a mind numbing slow development, it all stays pretty grounded in "reality" in terms of the characters and the plot. You also have to be a fan of meats to truly appreciate this manga (in my opinion), since while a lot of the story is about the bunny girls, the mangaka does a great job at making the food part interesting and entertaining.
Definitely would rate this manga at a 9/10, bunny girls+++++, but I really love meat.. so.... ++++

I read this in anticipation for the anime that is to release next year, and while it personally turned out better than I expected, it has its faults. I'll keep the review pretty short since there isn't much to really talk..
-The pacing of the story is very odd when I compare it to other romcoms that I've read, can't really describe it.
-Story is super generic too, zero progress has been made so far between the characters, however I expect that to change eventually.
-The art is fairly decent, and the characters look cute.
Both of the main characters really suck at expressing their feelings and emotions,

while that can be cute, it may be annoying for some readers. Their relationship isn't entirely normal either especially since they are in high school. The characters aren't perfect, nor are they well written. A lot of their backstories and motivations aren't really known yet for the reader aside from a couple of tid-bits of backstory.
Overall, don't read this manga if you are expecting the characters to be super complicated and interesting. It's just the embodiment of the fantasy of having a cute girl making you meals and cleaning your house. I enjoy it for what its worth, mainly just for the cute characters, and the mom 👍

I absolutely loved A Silent Voice, so when I saw this manga, I just had to read it. After I caught up to the recent chapters, I felt so many emotions, happiness, excitement, satisfaction, worry, curiosity, and many others. While my life was feeling so grey and boring, this manga filled it back with colors. I love all of the characters, every single one of them.
