I'm not sure why the overview doesn't mention this but the main girl has powers where when she touches people she can hear their thoughts. I'm actually quite sad it was never continued and only has 4 chapters (that i can find) since it's actually pretty good! While simple, it's well written, has an interesting premise and character dynamics, and super cute, well done art. My only guess as to why it was never continued is because of it's simplicity. Perhaps there aren't enough silly, creative events you can write up using this power in a school setting? Still, what was written in the school ... setting was still entertaining and I would've liked to be proven wrong!

Story of a girl who is totally girl-crazy and hates gross guys. She becomes an idol to get closer to her favorite idol and other cute girls but hates all the attention from fanboys. She often berates her fans but for that they love her even more and now she's the top idol! Each chapter is short and follows a problem Sana has had to face.

It's funny to see a girl so easily won over by a pair of boobs instead of a guy and some of the stories are pretty silly but more often than not they are hard to follow. They skip ... around a good bit and it's hard to tell when you are or why characters are yelling what they're yelling. The art can sometimes be confusing as well. (maybe just me?) Simple and silly premise but often too fast paced, too angry, and too confusing for me to read.

I stubbled across this manga and was initially put off by how young Nako looked. I really hate when women are drawn like little girls because it seems pedophilic to me. But, the art was so cute! - so I thought it wouldn't hurt to at least give it a shot. If it's weird I can simply drop it. But, hey, I ended up loving it! It's really funny, cute, and an easy read. I really enjoyed their dynamic and found all the characters surprisingly interesting and adorably hilarious.

I really appreciated the fact that Nako is never really sexualized and that it doesn't always ... use ecchi humor as a crutch, in fact it barely ever does. It instead uses a more light hearted and silly sense of humor showing that you can have a kid-looking adult character and not make that fact into a ton of sexual jokes. Personally, I felt rather similar to Nako, being a 5 foot, 21 year old myself who also gets mistaken for being younger than I am...so I really love how she was presented and how silly she was. I guess what I'm really trying to say is that her figure is never used as a fetish and I would love to see more of that.

The story shows that a character like Nako can be played up for laughs but also be involved in a sweet gay romance story that isn't all about sex, a story that also handles trans people fairly well! (very impressed) I understand if people are put off by how this appears, but I promise it's totally cute and worth it!

I can't wait to read more of this mangaka's work! Let's see what else she's written! ...Oh. ...Oh no... NO! WHAT IS ALL THIS! ALL THE PRAISE I JUST GAVE YOUUUUU!

This is a fine love story but I felt it was lacking or progressed too fast. My main issue is that Marie is at first a selfish and somewhat mean character but appears to just switch on a wim and becomes a whole new character not even half way through. I understand that meeting Aki changes her but the change is way too quick. She goes from wanting to ruin Aki's life to wanting to safe her so fast. Her hunger for wishes and her identity as an influencer disappear quickly to make her a sadder an kinder character for Aki's sake. It seems at ... first that it wants to be a thrilling story but becomes much more sappy, which is okay! - but just not what I expected, I guess. Regardless, the art is absouletly beautiful and was honestly what kept me reading. It's not bad at all and has some good lines, but just average and cliche to me.

This is THE book to read if you grew up a gay girl. I saw so much of myself in this that at times it was genuinely painful to relive. I felt like I was reliving my middle school and high school days. (even though they really aren't that far from now... - -;) Having crushes but worrying about how others - maybe even the person you have a crush on! - might view you was a big deal. Finding people or maybe that one person that changes your life and you just aren't sure what to do. Falling out with some of those people ... during your college days... T T It's an incredibly nostalgic manga because of many of these problems Mari goes through and, for me, the art style was very nostalgic as well. I feel it also helped me meditate on my current relationship! I felt the manga talked me through some bad habits I have in a way. I will admit, I enjoy the first half much more than I enjoy the second. I prefer the focus on Mari. The story of the discovery of her love felt a lot more meaningful that Akko's discovery. Maybe I just liked it more because I related to Mari more. ^^; Either way, it's great and I would definetly recommend it to any gay women! (I just feel men or straight people wouldn't be able to connect as deeply with the story)

You know something's wrong when you're favorite character is the Nazi that's barley in the show.

I'm not sure why this anime is so praised. Characters say the same things three times in a row and never let you figure out something for yourself and always tell you how to feel. They complain that, "Now we are really doomed!!!!" and then suddenly they explain that, "Actually, Jojo thought 50 episodes in advance so he got the best of them!! Haha!" Each episode could be cut down to 10 minutes if all this ridiculous talking and explaining was just cut out. But if that were so, we'd ... only see new characters for 5 minutes cause they're always killed off immediately!

It felt somewhat sluggish as well. Each episode felt like an hour to me. (Probably because of all that explaining.) There wasn't enough action to actually make it feel fast paced. Characters also weren't interesting to me, not nearly "bizzare" enough.

I understand that this was made at a time when moe was dominating anime and this brought back 80s muscle man stuff, but this feels like two middle schoolers roleplaying. "Well actually, I cut the rope you're hanging on and you die!" "Well actually, I tied the rope to you when you weren't looking!" Predicable, ridiculous, and kinda cringe.

i really loved this! im so glad i finally got around to watching it. id heard all about it before and just never did, but it was great! definitely never dull; so fun and so weird and sometimes disturbing.

i also like how you can see the animators getting better from just the characters' to model and the animation in general. though, i think in the 3rd season, they start using mocap for some movement which im not a huge fan of when it comes to cartoon models. it looks too uncanny and odd for me and i liked the silly, jittery normal animation, but i ... understand that it's easier to do mocap. and i feel like the most disturbing episodes are earlier in the seasons and while the later ones still are strange and sometimes bloody, i feel like it's toned down just a tad.

overall, this is right up my alley and i can't believe this was a kids show?! so odd and creative. i was actually sad when it ended. :)
