It's an intriguing and well-developed story, all the characters have motivation and internal conflicts, as well as their own values, what will shape their reactions and decisions. The events connect almost like poetry. It is possible to see the effort and affection of the author through the care with the work. It's really worth reading if you're into something more mature and a gangster atmosphere. It may be a little slow at first to unwind, but it makes sense later. It's not a short story, it has a lot of depth and complexity that needed the time it had to develop. In addition to being well written, for the genre, it brought a situation of abuse treating it with respect. Not as a nice thing, not as romantic, but a complicated and sad subject, and it was well portrayed in this work. Matthew the yearning final boss. He is THE standard.
I ate this up in a day, without a shame. It was sooo addicting. Age gap aswell, so keep in mind. The story felt a bit slow, not that much happening to be honest. Story focuses on the MCs. You see backgrounds of them etc... But the chemistry... chef's kiss If you are bored with twink bottoms, you are in the right place. I might reread this just for funzies. (If you dont wanna read something with sa in it, this might be your best choice, there is one scene but was with consent anyways)

its not an overstatement to say its overrated, it has nothing new to offer, the involvement of mafia definingly makes it interesting but that's pretty much it, there was no thrill nothing.... during the last few chapters it did pick something up altho it still wasn't all that great.
